Fake cards and fake slabs exist. Here is how we check what we list, and what we will do if something is ever wrong.
Raw cards
- Compared against known genuine copies from the same set
- Checked for card stock, colour, font, texture and finish
- Inspected under magnification and strong light
Graded slabs
- Cert number checked on the grading company's database
- Label, case and hologram details compared with genuine examples
- Case checked for signs of tampering
